Free ACMA Membership
National Academy of Osteopathy DOMP graduates who have a degree in naprapathy can now bill Canadian extended health plan insurers for manual osteopathy as well as naturotherapy if they are a member of the Quebec based national association, the Canadian Alliance of Alternative Medicine (ACMA). NAO graduates who have already joined ACMA as a manual osteopath will receive free ACMA naturotherapy membership.

Nova Scotia based registered manual osteopath, Joanne MacFarlane, a graduate of National Academy of Osteopathy is now booking patients for 2023, a waiting list of more than 5 months! All her 2022 treatment times are fully booked. Joanne mainly works on cash basis, but she also accepts extended health insurance plans as her treatments are accepted by most health insurers in Canada as she is a member of the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths.
