New NAO Professor

We wish to welcome manual osteopath, Gerwyn Besaw, MT, DOMP to National Academy of Osteopathy as a technique instructor of our cranial osteopathy department.

We currently have five cranial osteopathy instructors, 3 teach online and two on-campus.

A beautiful letter from a National Academy of Osteopathy student. 💟

Dr. Pourgol,

I can honestly say that you are one of the nicest and most caring professors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Your words of encouragement and willingness to help is so inspirational. Not to mention your teaching abilities!
Thank you so much for everything!
Melissa Devers

Online Osteopathy Education

All schools of osteopathy in Canada that said you cannot teach osteopathy online are now themselves teaching osteopathy online!

Beautiful Letter

A post published on LinkedIn by National Academy of Osteopathy graduate, osteopath, Hep (Alvin) Rebellon who works in Dubai, UAE.

Previously, mainstream osteopathic schools and their alumni thought of Dr. Pourgol's vision for online osteopathic education was inadequate by providing its schools curriculum all online.

In my opinion those schools are not visionaries as they failed to harness the full potential of digital learning in their osteopathic educational programs and have chosen to stay with the traditional classroom learning setting. Dr. Pourgol is leading by years away in providing online osteopathy education.

Honestly, I chose to study under Dr. Pourgol’s institutions (National Academy of Osteopathy & then National University of Medical Sciences) due to their proactive effort to uplift the osteopathic profession, their continuous innovations in education and learning platform, the professional support that they provide to their graduates, and to get a cost-effective education (which other schools are shying away from).
Kudos to Dr. Pourgol and the faculty of both schools in Canada and Spain.

Dr Pourgol, Thank you for your vision. Please do share this in your network - so more people can have the privilege to benefit from your vision, knowledge, experiences and teachings.
Many thanks Dr. Pourgol. Looking forward to meet you in person one day.

💟 A beautiful letter from another successful manual osteopath!

Hi dear Dr. Pourgol:

I hope you’re doing well...………….I will always admire you and you’ll always be my role model.

When I graduated last year from National Academy of Osteopathy, my goal was to become as successful as you are.
I followed every step you taught me and wouldn’t believe I would get to the point I am in just a year!

It was all because of such a great professor and mentor like you, you taught me well.

I will still follow your foot steps and I love you so much.
