National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada) is the largest provider of osteopathic education in the world, with alumni in 72 countries. It is the only osteopathy college to receive recognition award for teaching excellence from Ontario Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities. NAO is affiliated with Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada which has over 341 clinics in 32 countries.
National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada) president Dr Shawn Pourgol, MBA, DC, DO, PhD was invited today to
the Ontario Parliament by Honorable Dr Reza Moridi, PhD, MPP, the
Ontario Minister of Training, Colleges & Universities.
Pourgol was fortunate enough to also speak with Honorable John Tory, the
Toronto Mayor and Honorable Kathleen Wynne the Ontario Premier.
These distinguished politicians are all friends of osteopathy and every year send greetings to our students.
World famous sports nutrition specialist, Professor Abazar Habibinia who teaches nutrition and other subjects at National Academy of Osteopathy supervises Daniel Morad, a Canadian race car driver for his competition in Florida, USA.
Daniel won the first place at the Formula BMW USA car race championship in 2007. He is the rising star in car racing.
