Osteopathy as a health career choice is expanding to the disabled community. Every year National Academy of Osteopathy had students who had some form of physical disability. This term we also have students who cannot see and cannot hear.
Some disabilities obviously offer educational challenges and we are improving our online video server to help our students with disabilities. For example we have course notes of the online video lectures so hearing impaired students could read whatever the professors speak about.
We have improved a lot since 2010. And we will continue to improve to meet the needs of our students.
