We present to you the National Academy of Osteopathy on-campus class of September 2017. The future manual osteopaths. Some travelled all the way from USA, Italy, Romania, Chile and Mexico to be in this class.

We love these students! They are so much fun!

Osteopathy in the Toronto International Film Festival

The manual osteopath representing osteopathy in the Toronto International Film Festival is Liza Egbogah, DC, DOMP, a graduate of National Academy of Osteopathy & the Canadian Chiropractic Memorial College.

Dr Liza is a manual osteopath to the stars with many celebrities as clients. She has a fully booked practice, charging $500 for two hours of manual osteopathic care in her downtown Toronto boutique clinic.

She also has a line of stylish orthopedic shoes that have a lot of admirers, including actress Emma Thompson.

A number of celebrities signed her blackboard at the TIFF including Angelina Julie, Nicolas Cage, George Clooney & Emma Thomson. We are proud of our alumni and grateful to Dr Liza for introducing osteopathy to the celebrities.

Dr Liza Egbogah is a graduate of National Academy of Osteopathy & the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She has many celebrities as clients.

Osteopathy is quite popular with chiropractors & other health professionals because of its ability in treating chronic pain. Most cases seen by manual osteopaths are last resort cases. This is why most manual osteopaths have fully booked practices. In some cities, such as London, Ontario a year long waiting list is not uncommon for manual osteopathic care! 

Here is what Dr Egbogah posted on her blog about why she chose to study osteopathy:
The main reason I chose to pursue osteopathy instead of chiropractic is that while chiropractic focuses primarily on spinal manipulation, osteopathy involves head to toe treatment to help the body work more efficiently. Whether someone has a wrist fracture, back pain or a knee injury, manual osteopaths will treat the entire body to optimize functioning. I have always felt that with the multitude of interconnections in the body, addressing the entire system is the only way to effectively treat.

Jodi is a Canadian fitness and body building champion and the top fitness coach in Nova Scotia (Canada).

Becoming a Canadian

Veterinarian physician, Dr Lizbeth Ordonez Trujillo (from Mexico) was able to apply for the Canadian permanent residency after enrolling at the on-campus DOMP program of National Academy of Osteopathy.

Congratulation Dr Trujillo for becoming a Canadian as well as a manual osteopath!

Mark MacKenzie, DOMP president of the British Columbia Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (BCAOMP) was kind enough to offer free one year membership to BCAOMP to all DOMP graduates of National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada) who practice manual osteopathy in British Columbia (Canada).

Second Career is an Ontario government program that will pay the cost of your osteopathy tuition. The Ontario government is helping laid-off workers get back to work.

You may qualify for up to $28 000 to pay for tuition and expenses such as:
