Our Youngest DOMP graduate
NAO president, Dr Shawn Pourgol, MBA, DC, DO, PhD with Dr Dasha Veprjitska, DOMP, BSc (Ost), MBA, DO (Spain), the NAO manager.
Dr. Veprjitska is our youngest osteopathy student. She was a top student, scoring 100% in her final practical exams at NAO. She later on continued her education at National University of Medical Sciences (Spain), taking three combined degrees, a bachelor of science in osteopathy, a master of business administration in healthcare and a doctor of osteopathy together, graduating from the three health degree programs in 2 years and becoming the youngest doctor of osteopathy (DO) in the world.
Before osteopathy, Dasha was a professional ballerina and an Ontario dance champion. She enrolled at NAO right after high school graduation. NAO has improved greatly under her supervision as a manager.
8 Times Faster
We have increased the capacity of our dedicated online video server by 8 times. Now the lecture videos should run a lot faster.
Times are uncertain. Your future doesn't have to be.
As long as there is chronic pain, there is a need for manual osteopathy. And now due to COVID-19 and people being indoors often, the need for manual osteopathic care has increased.
Many of our students have seen increased bookings and some, like Dr Ali Haghighi in Ontario had to hire 3 new manual osteopaths 2 months ago (all NAO graduates) to answer the higher demand in his practice.
National Academy of Osteopathy graduates have gross income of $150,000 per year which is $60,000 more than what other manual osteopaths make. This is because we teach them over 200 business lectures.
We graduate successful manual osteopaths. By becoming a manual osteopath, you secure your future.
OSTEO Harley Davidson License Plate
National Academy of Osteopathy student, Dr Thomas Andrew, RMT, DOMP, DO (Spain), is a Canadian who practices osteopathy in Bermuda.
While in Canada on vacation he enjoys riding his Harley that has a beautiful license plate!
Do manual osteopaths in Canada charge HST/GST?
Yes, as per Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requirements, manual osteopaths in Canada must charge HST/GST. The rate they charge differs in each province. In Ontario they must charge HST (which is 13%) and in some other province such as British Columbia, GST is charged.
HST or GST for the manual osteopathic services
Effective immediately all osteopathic manual practitioners and manual osteopaths in Canada must charge HST or GST for the manual osteopathic services they provide.

NAO campus based students, please note that Faceshields will not be accepted at NAO campus. You must wear a mask and you must ensure the mask covers your nose.
The mask has to be a type that covers your mouth and nose.
Thank you.
50 New Business Lectures
I have added 50 new video lectures to the business management course I teach in the DOMP program of National Academy of Osteopathy. They have already been uploaded and registered NAO students can view them now. For NAO alumni we plan to give free access to NAO online server in the future so they can watch them as well.
