The Ontario policy in regards to billing insurers for treatment of patients who are injured in motor vehicle accident has been updated. Please read the file if you provide manual osteopathic care for MVA injuries.
One main change is that before you must have submitted OCF 21 (treatment plan) directly to insurer. Now you can give a printed copy to patient, ask patient to pay you, and patient directly will submit this form to insurer and insurers will pay patient directly. Previously insurer would send payment to you.
