Severe shortage of osteopaths in London (Canada). Become a
manual osteopath and help people.
We just received a letter from a patient telling us that manual
osteopaths in London (Ontario) have a waiting list of one to three years! This
means many people who would benefit from osteopathic care are unable to find
help. (to read the letter click on the link: http://nationalacademyofosteopathy.blogspot.ca/2014/02/a-letter-from-osteopathy-patient.html)
We urge the people of London to study manual osteopathy with
us so they could help others. Manual osteopathy is a rewarding profession and
has been chosen as one of the top 25 occupations in demand by the Canadian
Imperial Bank of Commerce in 2012.
Currently the Province of Ontario (Canada) has a shortage of
osteopathic manual practitioners and as per report of CMOE needs 2,500 more
manual osteopaths.
National Academy of Osteopathy is the largest provider of
manual osteopathic education in the world.
We are the only osteopathic college in Canada that has been
accepted as an affiliate member of the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA). We
are accredited by the Council on Manual Osteopathy Education of the International
Osteopathic Association. Are graduates are permitted to write the board exams
of the Canadian Manual Osteopathy Examining Board, the College of Osteopathic
Manual Practitioners of Ontario, the International Osteopathy Examining Board,
the Ontario College of Osteopathic Rehabilitation Sciences, Ontario Board of
Osteopathy, and others.
We offer a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice program,
which takes between 4 to 8 months to complete (depending on your prior health
education). Tuition starts from $5,026. We offer an online on-demand DOMP with
2 weeks of practical training, or a campus based program at our campus at York
University Heights in Toronto.
Our in-campus program is World Health Organization (WHO)
compliant. Our graduates are eligible to work in all countries, including all
Canadian provinces. Actually we are the one who introduced osteopathy to the
province of Nova Scotia. The only practicing osteopath there is an NAO
graduate!
NAO continues to elevate the profession of manual
osteopathy. Our president Dr Pourgol had founded the World Osteopathy Day, and
the OSTEOPATHY TV (www.fb.com/osteopathytv),
the only TV station dedicated to the profession of osteopathy.
