Exercising on Empty Stomach
Recent research shows that exercising on empty stomach or after fasting has many benefits including increasing testosterone and human growth hormone levels, while decreasing chance of diabetes and other disorders.
Additionally exercising on empty stomach signals the body to
produce new brain cells as well as new muscle cells, basically improving your
brain and body while making them younger.
This type of exercise is specially effective for fat loss.
Please consult with your physician or manual osteopath prior to starting an
exercise program.
“I exercise on empty stomach on a daily basis. Right after I
wake up, before even reading my daily paper and drinking coffee I take my Yoga
mat and start doing Yoga followed by some form of cardio and aerobics, and
sometimes Taekwondo. It is a great way to start your day. Try it, you will love
it!” Says osteopathic manual practitioner, Dr Shahin Pourgol, one of the
professors teaching at our school.
Professor Oleg Bagrin, MD (Europe), DOMP
