Our New Campus

We had to move because the current National Academy of Osteopathy campus is too small. Effective September 01, 2018 we will be at a new location that is twice as big as what we have now.

The new location is just two streets south of our current location, right in front of the York University main entrance. Our phone and fax numbers will remain the same.

Our new address is:
National Academy of Osteopathy
York University Heights
375 Canarctic Drive, Suite 21 and 22
Toronto, Ontario M3J 2P9

We are so excited about our new location. The large space also allows us to double the number of student clinic rooms! We will also have a section for Osteopathy TV studio. We will also have tons of free parking.

The United Nation of Osteopathy!

We love it when our students from different countries meet each other.

We just saw on Facebook that a National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada) student, Professor Elias Abdel-Ahad who practices osteopathy in Canada, has met with a French student Dr Alain Daniel Ngounde, DO who practices osteopathy in Kuwait City.

We are such an international family! We love my students! :)

Are you planning to work in US?

If you wish to practice osteopathy in the states (our profession is known as osteopathic manual practice in the States) you should choose an osteopathy school that is accredited by the US Council on Osteopathic Manual Practice Education (COMPE).

The alumni of osteopathy schools accredited by COMPE are able to write the board exams administered by the American Osteopathic Manual Practice Examining Board (AOMPEB). Those who pass the board exams can then apply to the American Association of Osteopathic Manual Practice (AAOMP) for membership.

Upon joining AAOMP as a member you will be awarded with the title of COMP (Certified Osteopathic Manual Practitioner). AAOMP has copyrighted the title of COMP and only its members are permitted to use this title.

NAO (Canada) is an accredited member of COMPE. Our alumni are permitted to sit for the board exams of AOMPEB and to join AAOMP upon graduation. Most osteopathic manual practitioners in the states are our alumni.
